Ready to pick up a sword?

Whether you've always wanted to learn historical swordsmanship, are looking for a new martial art or simply a way to move and get exercise, we'd love to welcome you to Art of Arms.

No previous fencing or martial arts experience is necessary. Our Thursday evening classes are open to students of all ability levels, and we'll help you develop your skills at your own pace.

Your first class is completely free! Come along, meet the club, and see if historical fencing is for you.

Everyone is welcome

Art of Arms is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive training environment.

We welcome people of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ fencers. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore historical martial arts, develop their skills, and enjoy training without discrimination or harassment.

Whether you're completely new to martial arts or have years of experience, we ask only that you treat your fellow fencers with respect, train safely, and bring a willingness to learn.
